Dr. Samuel Dwomoh has over 20 years of combined experience in pharmacy, engineering, and marine surveying. He has a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Cincinnati, USA, a MSc. Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, MA – USA, and a BSc. Mechanical Engineering degree from KNUST, Ghana.
Currently Dr. Dwomoh is a practicing pharmacist specialized in dermatology medications at Shiffa Pharmacy, Columbus-Ohio. Prior, he held numerous healthcare positions at Mercy Hospital in Fairfield Ohio and UMASS Hospital in Worcester, MA.
Some key research projects Dr. Dwomoh has been involved include: “Optimizing care for patients with hypertension”, “Turn-Around analysis for Drake Center Hospital vancomycin trough draws”, and “Electro Convulsive Therapy (ECT) for Bipolar 1 Disorder treatment: a case presentation.”
Dr. Dwomoh has a wealth of leadership experience with organizations operating in Ghana and the US. Currently, he is a Supervisor at Shiffa Pharmacy, the President of Kwahuman Association of Cincinnati-Ohio, and the Deputy Communication Director of NPP-USA. Moreover, Dr. Dwomoh is the co-owner of JD Marine and Off-Shore Services based in Tema-Ghana involved with marine surveying since 2004.
